We engage relationally with our athletes by providing elite level coaching and high-character team leadership to players, parents, opponents and umpires.


EQUIP

We equip our athletes with rigorous athletic, Christ-centered training, propelling them to glorify God in their sport and life outside of baseball.

We believe God empowers our athletes beyond our methods to become high level ballplayers...

Because God defines us as more than just athletes, we strive for excellence as we share our passion and knowledge of baseball while working to broaden the scope of athletics for every involved member.


What sets our baseball program apart.

We believe one of the keys to each player’s success, as well as our program, is recruiting and retaining outstanding coaches who collectively share in our club’s coaching philosophy. You can expect each coach within FCA to:

1. Care about the individual above the athlete.
2. Engage with, and motivate players with a positive and encouraging demeanor

4. Teach the game of baseball and work hard to help each player improve
5. Seek opportunities for players to succeed

MEMO FROM BAY AREA FCA BASEBALL 
           Bay Area FCA Baseball goal is to teach ballplayers that developing discipline and character can greatly impact their life beyond the game. We believe that the sport of baseball is a great environment to develop these values. Our coaches and staff believe that there is much more to life than baseball. Many ballplayers “dream” to play varsity, college and professional baseball and the few that achieve these dreams will quickly realize that it is fleeting, and the euphoria will eventually come to an end.  

           Our team wants to equip our ballplayers to not find their identity in their sport or accomplishments but in who God says they are.

           Our coaches will teach each player to love the game and play it to the best of their ability. We also teach the kids that there is something beyond baseball that we should put our faith and hope in. Baseball is a great game but a terrible god. If we put our hope and faith in the game of baseball it will become an idol and eventually let us down. Whether it’s a strikeout, getting cut from the team, or a career ending injury, we have to put baseball in its rightful place. When a player can understand this, only then will they truly be prepared for whatever curveball life throws them.
